A document map, or table of contents, provides the user with a convenient way to navigate a lengthy report. Data Dynamics Reports creates the document map automatically when you provide a document map label for each report item you want to display for navigation. You can use an expression to create the label text which displays in the document map.
Document Maps in Exports
In the report viewer, the document map appears in a pane to the left of the report, but when you export your reports, the various file formats handle document maps differently.
