Just wanted to let you know, ActiveReports has been seamless, flawless and easy to use. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier and nicer looking reports than if I was trying to code them manually or using some POC like "Crystal whatever its name is" (Amazing how quick you can forget the name of something that caused you to curse sooooo much over the years!!!).

It was a easy transition from Crystal Reports.

My experience with AR has been wonderful. It was a easy transition from Crystal Reports. My code time dropped and my distriubition problems were erased.

ActiveReports vs Crystal Reports

 From my experience, ActiveReports is WAY more usable and flexible than Crystal. In my past I've knocked out some heavy-duty reports with AR, which allowed me to go in and write code as needed. Every time I use Crystal I feel that my hands are tied, and I'm afraid that after hours of work I'll end up hitting an impasse. For that reason, I've avoided Crystal

This Update Could Not Have Been More Perfect and the Fix Works Great!

Just wanted to let you know the timing of this update could not have been more perfect and the fix works great! I had been diverted several weeks ago to work on a different application and I literally just opened up this project again minutes prior to receiving your e-mail yesterday.  I was looking at the need to duplicate the "parent" report header info that the rest of the report uses but would need to be duplicated on the page with graphs because of this issue. Your e-mail came and I stared in disbelief! I immediately downloaded and installed the service pack, reworked my graph page back to being a sub-report and it simply worked!  Very pleased! Thank you and please pass my thanks on your team if possible from at least one very happy [ActiveReports 6] user.

You Really Need This in Your Integration Arsenal

[Spread for BizTalk] is one of the single most important and long awaited innovations to the business process integration (BPI) market I've ever seen. I rarely make a "pitch" for non-MSFT development products, but if you're a BizTalk developer like me this is one tool that you really need in your "integration" arsenal.

Too Good to Be True

Wow! Too good to be true: Professional documentation and samples. Feature rich! It can also be used for some complex problems in interface design. I dont have any problems giving [Spread COM] five stars. Good work guys! Keep it up!!

Users Prefer to Use Excel-Type Input

Our application has a very complex system of user inputs.  We found that users prefer to use an Excel type of input, and FarPoint Spread allows them to cut and paste from Excel, saving an enormous amount of effort.
